Thank you for offering to support Clothing Coventry by volunteering at our Free School Uniform Pop-Up Event in August 2026. We couldn’t deliver this event without the dedication and support of our volunteers, so we are delighted to have you on board. Your time and commitment will help us provide free school uniform to families across Coventry, ensuring that children can start the new school year with confidence.

Before signing up for any volunteer sessions, all volunteers must complete our safeguarding training by watching the short safeguarding video linked below. This is an important requirement to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children and families we support. Once you have watched the video, you will be able to sign up for your chosen volunteer sessions.

Once you have completed the safeguarding training, please use the booking link at the bottom of this page, to select the sessions you are available for. We are grateful for any time you can give, whether that’s a single session or multiple days. Booking in advance helps us ensure we have enough volunteers to support families throughout the event.

Information

The pop up runs from Monday 10th August until Friday 28th August 2026.

Morning sessions will be from 09:30 – 1pm (3.5hours) and afternoon sessions will be from 12pm until 3:30pm (3.5hours). You can also sign up for all days sessions with a short break in between. (6 hours).

Set up day

We will have a set up day on Friday 7th August, where we will need volunteers with vehicles and manual handling abilities. Volunteers will help load and deliver crates of uniform from 8 Napier Street, to Queens Road Baptist Church.

Pack down day

We will also have a pack down day on Tuesday 1st September, where we will need volunteers with vehicles and manual handling abilities. Volunteers will help pack down uniform at Queens Road Baptist Church, load vans/cars and deliver to 8 Napier Street.
