We have the clothes. We have the volunteers. We have the determination. We just need somewhere to keep helping.
Help us secure our community wardrobe for another year and protect a lifeline for thousands of local people.
£38,000
Our fundraising goal to cover a year’s rent and utilities.
Coventry, We Need Your Help
Every day, people across our city face impossible choices. Heating or eating. Paying the bills or buying their children new school shoes.
At Clothing Coventry, we believe nobody should have to go without essential clothing because of poverty.
Our community wardrobe provides free clothing, shoes, school uniforms, coats and everyday essentials. People can choose what they need, just as they would in a shop, without cost or judgement.
But now our own future is uncertain.
With funding running low and our reserves being used to cover essential running costs, we are facing one of the biggest challenges in our charity’s history. Without further support, we may be forced to close.
More Than Just a Warehouse
Our warehouse isn’t simply a building full of clothes. It’s a place where families find relief, children get the uniforms they need for school, and people experiencing hardship are treated with dignity.
It’s also a community brought together by kindness, with volunteers giving their time to support others.
If we lose our premises, Coventry risks losing this vital service.
The Difference We Make
9,375 Community wardrobe visits in 2025
15,005 School uniform items distributed in summer 2026
120 Registered volunteers supporting our work
Behind every number is a real person, a family, or a child whose life has been made a little easier.
What Your Donation Means
We’re asking our community to help us raise £38,000 towards our warehouse rent for 2027.
Every donation helps us move closer to securing the space where our volunteers sort donations, families choose their clothing, and thousands of essential items find new homes.
Whether you can give £5, £10, £25 or £100, your contribution matters.
Covering our rent is one essential part of keeping our service running. We are also working hard to secure funding for staffing and other operating costs.
Help Us Keep Coventry Clothed
